Privacy Policy

This is a courtesy translation summarising the key points. The German version (Datenschutzerklärung) is authoritative and contains the full details. This policy applies to raymigrator.com including all subdomains, in particular config.raymigrator.com (RayMigrator Config Wizard).

1. Controller

RAYCOON.com GmbH, Mainzer Str. 16g, 64331 Weiterstadt, Germany
E-mail: raymigrator@raycoon.com
Represented by the managing directors: Daniel Pavic, Sven Haude, Gerald Müller

2. Hosting and server log data

This website and the Config Wizard are hosted on Microsoft Azure (Azure Static Web Apps). When you access them, the hosting service processes connection data for technical reasons — in particular your IP address, date and time of access, the requested resource, and browser/operating system identifiers. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (secure and stable delivery of the service). A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with Microsoft.

3. Cookies, consent, and analytics

The website uses a consent banner. A single technically necessary cookie (rc_consent, lifetime 6 months) stores your consent preferences. Analytics (Azure Application Insights) is loaded only after you have given consent in the analytics category (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR); you can change or withdraw your choice at any time via “Cookie Settings” in the footer. Details, including the data processed by Application Insights, are described in the German version.

4. RayMigrator Config Wizard (config.raymigrator.com)

The Config Wizard processes the configuration data you enter or upload — including connection strings — exclusively locally in your browser. This data is never transmitted to us or to third parties, is not stored on our systems, and is not accessible to us. Generated configuration files are downloaded directly from your browser to your device. Your acceptance of the Terms of Use before export is likewise neither transmitted nor stored server-side; an acceptance note is generated locally and included in the exported ZIP file.

5. Contact

If you contact us by e-mail, we process the data you provide in order to handle your enquiry (Art. 6 (1) (b) or (f) GDPR). The data is deleted once no longer required, unless statutory retention obligations apply.

6. Your rights

You have the rights of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20), and objection to processing based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (Art. 21). Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time with effect for the future. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority; responsible for us is the Hessian Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (Der Hessische Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit), Wiesbaden, Germany.
