License
RayMigrator is source-available under the Business Source License 1.1 (BUSL-1.1) with an Additional Use Grant.
This version is free for everyone, for any purpose
There is no organization-size threshold, no restriction by legal form or sector, no internal-use requirement, and no restriction on offering RayMigrator to third parties as a hosted, SaaS, or managed service. There is nothing to buy and nothing to apply for.
Non-production use — development, testing, evaluation, QA, research — is free under the BSL grant itself.
Conversion to Apache 2.0
Each version converts to the Apache License 2.0 four years after its own first public release. BUSL-1.1 applies separately to each version; the grant above ships with this version, and every release carries its own LICENSE.md.
Source, forks, and trademarks
You may copy, modify, create derivative works from, and redistribute the source. Unmodified copies may be redistributed under the original name; modified or derivative versions must adopt a distinct name not derived from the RayMigrator or RAYCOON marks.
The Raycoon.RayMigrator.Database.Example skeleton project is MIT-licensed, so DAL plugin authors can freely copy it as a starting point.
Binding terms
The binding terms are in the LICENSE.md file distributed with the software (repository public with the 0.11.0 release). This page is informative only; in case of any conflict, LICENSE.md prevails.
